It is widely debated on whether Bumble Bee Jasper is a true Jasper or an Agate as some have contested. It gets its vibrant colour from minerals such as volcanic matter, anhydrite, hematite, sulfur, and arsenic. Sulfur and arsenic are toxic minerals so these pieces should never be used in water bottles or placed directly on the skin. It is also recommended to wash your hands after handling.
